NOTHING BUT SCHOOL

Do you think that school takes up too much time of the day, week, month, or year? Picture school without Mondays and Fridays, without waking up at six in the morning. Kids need to enjoy being a kid, not locked up in a building for seven hours.
The seconds that tick by in school are why a lot of people have dark rain clouds above their heads. The days linger on like sitting in a chair, in a dark room for five hours. Kids need an extra day to get ready for school because they play hard outside all weekend and get really tired. Then they have to wake up three hours before they want to.
Homework is one of the worst parts of school. When teachers give out homework they are mostly saying we are expanding school. If teachers want to give out homework then why don’t they just make school seven days a week and save the paper for better times.
School also takes a great amount of energy. You have to think and perform at your highest, but that doesn’t happen when you are tired and sore. A lot of kids put so much effort into things that they have to do in school and then they waste effort doing things that don’t help them become a better student. School is something that can’t be skipped in life and you can’t have valuable time be wasted on things that won’t help you.
The good things that come out of school are that you get smarter and learn more things then you would’ve if you didn’t go to school. Sometimes school can be a place where you get headaches and migraines with all the stuff that gets forced into you all day at school.

Thanks for posting your essay, Kyle! This is an interesting topic. I agree that it can get overwhelming with outside activities and school work. Hopefully students will enjoy school enough to want to be here each day:)
